Our substance use treatment programs are dedicated to supporting individuals on their recovery journey from addiction.

We are here to offer you Medication-Assistance Recovery (MAR) with Methadone, DUI services, Substance Use Treatment for Adolescents, and the Drug Free program for Substance Use Disorder Evaluations for court proceedings and DCFS cases.

MEDICATION-ASSISTANCE RECOVERY (MAR) WITH METHADONE

Pilsen Wellness Center offers outpatient substance use treatment with methadone-assisted recovery at its Little Village and Stone Park facilities.

Medication-assisted recovery (MAR) is a treatment for substance use disorders that combines medication with therapy, counseling, and support services. MAR is used to treat opioid use disorder (OUD), for addiction to substances like heroin or fentanyl. We accept Medicaid.

DRUG FREE PROGRAM

The Drug Free Program provides Outpatient Substance Use Treatment to persons experiencing alcohol or other drug overuse problems.

The program also servces persons requiring Substance Use Disorder Evaluations for court proceedings and/or for the Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS).

Services include:

Individual & Group Counseling
Case Management
Education on Chemical Dependency
Crisis Assessment and Intervention
Urine Drug Screening
Psychiatric Evaluation by Referral

And Linkage Referrals to:

Domestic Violence Programs
Mental Health Services
Inpatient Rehabilitative Services

The Drug Free Program also serves persons in recovery who require continued group counseling, peer recovery support, in collaboration with Alcoholic Anonymous, Narcotics Anonymous, and AL-ANON.

ADOLESCENT SUBSTANCE USE PROGRAM (ASUTS)

The Adolescent Substance Use Treatment (ASUTS) offers adolescents between the ages of 13 and 17 individual substance use counseling and case management services.

Services include:

Drug Education
Coping skills training
Relapse prevention skills
TB, hepatitis, HIV & STD’s education
Toxicology testing
Group counseling
Aftercare planning

CHICAGO SUBSTANCE USE PREVENTION PROGRAM (CSUP) FOR YOUTH

The Chicago Substance Use Prevention (CSUP) Program is a youth education and prevention initiative that provides drug education workshops and informational seminars to local schools.

The program seeks to improve the education and support systems of vulnerable youth to increase their knowledge and resilience to drug and alcohol use.

Additional prevention activities include: parent/family educational seminars, coalition development, the formation of regional youth advisory community councils; as well as the development of communication campaigns targeting area youth.
